当たり前を再考したボードゲーム

既存のボードゲームのカタチと素材をほんの少しだけ変えたボードゲームのデザイン・制作を行った。
「当たり前」の形を少し変えてしまうだけで、一瞬で「当たり前じゃなくなる」。
「当たり前じゃなくなる」から、当然不自由さもでてくる。
けれどもまた新しい発想と、新しい遊びが生まれる。
使用者自身が遊びながら、新しい発想で遊びを生み出すことを目的とした。

"The Ordinary is Not So Ordinary"
We designed and created a board game that subtly alters the shape and materials of traditional games.
By making just a small change to the 'ordinary,' what was once familiar becomes something entirely new. With this shift, some limitations naturally arise, but they also spark fresh ideas and new ways to play.

The goal is to inspire players to generate their own innovative gameplay ideas while enjoying the experience.

透明オセロ - Transparent Othello -
片面にテクスチャと色がついた透明のオセロ。
手触りや透明の駒が作り出す影によって自分の駒を判別する。
these transparent Othello with texture and color on one side. Players distinguish their pieces by the tactile feel and the shadows cast by the transparent discs.

透明トランプ - Transparent playing cards -
透明かつサークル形状で製作されたチップ状のトランプ。
裏表がなくなることで、既存のトランプとは異なった戦略での遊びが生まれる。
Transparent, circular-shaped chip cards. With no distinct front or back, they create a completely new strategic approach compared to traditional playing cards.

英語表記の将棋 - Shogi with English version -
1セット分だけ英語表記になっている将棋。
自分と相手の駒表記が異なっていることで今までとは違った感覚で将棋を指すことになる。
A set of Shogi with English notation. The difference in piece notation between you and your opponent creates a completely new experience when playing the game.

※透明オセロと透明トランプは舞鶴市内の企業で使用されなくなったコロナ対策アクリルパーテーションを使用して制作。また全てのボードゲームの制作には弊社オフィス兼創作工房「AKARENGA CREATIVE BASE」内にあるレーザーカッターを使用した。
The transparent Othello and transparent playing cards were created using acrylic partitions from local businesses in Maizuru city, which were no longer in use due to COVID-19 measures. Additionally, all the board games were produced using a laser cutter located in our office and creative workshop, 'AKARENGA CREATIVE BASE.'
