海上自衛隊第四術科学校史料室

“知る”を深める導線設計――タイムトンネルという空間体験

海上自衛隊第４術科学校史料室のリニューアルに伴い、展示資料の情報整理および展示空間デザインを担当。
点在していた資料を体系的に整理し、テーマごとにゾーニング。空間を進むごとに第４術科学校での活動や生活が理解できるよう、動線と展示構成を再設計した。空間全体は自衛隊を象徴するネイビーカラーで統一し、一体感を持たせるとともに、一部にトンネル形状の構造を取り入れ、来場者が展示に没入できる体験を演出。さらに壁面全体を使い、これまでの歩みを時系列で展示することで、来場者が彼らの生活の変遷を追体験できる空間を創出した。

"Designing a Journey of Discovery – The Immersive Experience of the 'Time Tunnel"
As part of the renewal project for the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force ( JMSDF )4th Maritime Service School ( 4MSS ) Historical records room, we were responsible for organizing the exhibition materials and designing the exhibition space.
Scattered materials were systematically organized and zoned by theme, with the layout and exhibition flow redesigned to allow visitors to deepen their understanding of the activities and daily life at 4MSS as they move through the space. The entire space was unified with the navy blue color symbolic of JMSDF, creating a cohesive environment. Additionally, a tunnel-shaped structure was incorporated into part of the design to enhance the immersive experience. The history and daily life of the school were displayed along the walls in chronological order, allowing visitors to experience the evolution of life at the 4th Technical School as they progress through the exhibit.
