ねぶたの張り子から着想を得た舞台空間ディスプレイ
2池坊短期大学にて行われた木管五重奏箏コンサート会場の舞台ディスプレイのデザインと設営を行なった。
ねぶたの張り子から着想を得つつ、絃を表現した針金、和を想起させる和紙をシンプルにまとめ上げたたディスプレイは、和紙独特の素材感と陰影を舞台上に浮かび上がらせ、楽器と演者を主役として引き立てつつも、和楽器演奏の気品と上品さを静かに感じさせる表現となった。
"A Stage Display Inspired by Nebuta Production Technique"
We designed and installed the stage display for a woodwind quintet and koto concert held at Ikebono Junior College.
Drawing inspiration from the traditional Nebuta papier-mâché, we crafted a minimalist display using wire to represent strings and washi paper to evoke a sense of Japanese aesthetics. The unique texture and shadows of washi subtly emerged on stage, enhancing the presence of both the instruments and performers. The result was a refined expression that quietly conveyed the elegance and dignity of traditional Japanese musical performances while ensuring the musicians remained the focal point.
